On top of low within China and international call rates, Yoyoor's service provides travelers with a sleek camera phone with real-time biling. More importantly, Yoyoor service includes an access to a live, bilingual virtual assistant to deal with any communication problems that may arise.
Yoyoor's mission is to set a new standard for worldwide travel services by combining state-of-the-art technology and customer care with a personal touch.
Leadership
Joss Shen Co-founder and CEO The young Yoyoor team is guided by Joss Shen, former VP of Network and Platform Engineering at WebEx (Nasdaq: WEBX), part of CISCO company now as world-wide leader in web collaboration and online meetings. With 9 years of working and 3 years of sr. executive management experience in WebEx, Joss brought great leadership and management skills to Yoyoor team. Prior to WebEx, Joss worked in a few companies in US and China including 3Com. Joss graduated from Zhejiang University and holds Master degree of Computer Science and Engineering.
Min Zhu Co-founder and Chairman Min Zhu founded Future Labs back in 1991 and was acquired by Quarterdeck for $13M in 1996. Thereafter Min co-founded and served as President and CTO of WebEx Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: WEBX), which was acquired by Cisco for $3.2 billion dollars in May 2007. In 2004, Min joined NEA (New Enterprise Associates) as Venture Partner. In 2005, Min resigned from WebEx and founded Cybernaut (China) Capital. As one of China's pioneering investment funds, Cybernaut focuses its investments on eServices in finance, travel, education, healthcare, retail and media sectors based on strong Information Technology platforms. Yoyoor is now part of Min's portfolio companies.
Peter Ru VP of Sales & Marketing As Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Peter Ru leads the Sales & Marketing teams of Yoyoor. Prior to joining Yoyoor, Peter served as the managing director of Zhejiang Huida Technology responsible for the sales and strategic planning of chain hotels. Peter also held a variety of sales management positions in online entertainment media distributor. He began his career as a marketing professional with Nikko Sportswear Inc. Peter graduated from Dalian University of Techology. He also received his MBA from Zhejiang University.
Jacky Yang VP of Products & Operations Jacky Yang is responsible for strategic planning, R&D, operation and support in his current role as VP of Products & Operations. Before joining Yoyoor, he worked at Lenovo and UT Starcom as product director overseeing the research and development of various mobile product lines. Jacky's rich experience and relationships with the telecommunications industry will help drive Yoyoor's innovative growth to new levels. Jacky graduated from Xiamen University.
